Sixteen ounces of oil under a blue-finished 18/8 stainless steel skin, dispensed by a mechanical trigger. There is no aerosol propellant stored in the bottle, so nothing but oil or vinegar ever reaches the pan.
Steel construction means it will not clog, melt or shatter, and the finish keeps fingerprints off a bottle that gets picked up twenty times a service. Free of BPA, latex, lead and DEHP, and Proposition 65 compliant.
The trigger releases a consistent 1.35 millilitres per pull in a fan-shaped pattern. Spread that way, less oil covers more pan, which makes portion control a by-product of how the bottle works rather than something you have to think about.
Fill it with vegetable, olive, canola, peanut or sesame oil, or with balsamic vinegar when a salad wants a fine mist. It is the same bottle for every job, topped up from whatever you buy in bulk.
Hand wash in warm, soapy water. The bottle is reusable indefinitely and fully recyclable, and one of them displaces a long run of disposable aerosol cans at a considerably lower cost per ounce.
