- An air fryer wants a film of oil, not a puddle, and a trigger mister is the only sane way to deliver one. This 6-ounce glass bottle sprays olive, avocado or any pourable cooking oil with no propellant behind it, needs no pumping or priming to start, and keeps its valve clear so the last spray of the month works like the first.
- Each pull is about a quarter of a teaspoon, thrown out as a wide fan rather than a jet. Spread across chips, wings, cauliflower or a tray of roots, that quarter-teaspoon browns as well as a tablespoon poured on and stirred, which is the whole argument for measuring oil in sprays instead of glugs.
- The nozzle rotates between horizontal and vertical, so you can lay the fan flat over an open basket or turn it to reach into a deep roasting tin. Glass keeps the contents cool and inert and, unlike a pressurised can, it is safe to spray near a gas ring while the oven door is open or the hob is running underneath it.
